Eddie Fitzgerald, RD, LDN

Eddie is a Registered Dietitian with a Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition from Appalachian State University. Over the last decade, Eddie has struggled with body image issues and injuries of his own. When in high school, he went to his coach because he felt terrible and his coach asked, “What have you eaten today?” In that moment, he realized the importance of nutrition and how much it affects the body. Eddie began prepping all of his own meals and learning everything he could about the science of nutrition. He believes the way we eat can change how we feel both physically and emotionally as well as promote the healing of injuries and allow us reach new levels of athletic performance. With all the information out there these days, it can be easy to become overwhelmed and unsure of what is best for you. That is where Eddie comes in. He's done the ketogenic diet, been a vegan for 6 months, experimented with intermittent fasting techniques and continues to explore different approaches to nutrition in order to provide both a professional and personal insight. With one-on-one counseling and an individualized nutrition plan, you can continue to eat                                                                                                                         foods that you love and reach your goals. Together, you will work to create                                                                                                                   long-lasting behavior changes and diet modifications that will provide an                                                                                                                     overall healthier lifestyle.

Caroline Pope, MS, RD, LDN, Owner

 

Caroline is a Registered Dietitian with a Master's of Nutrition Science from Meredith College. Her Psychology degree from UNC Chapel Hill helps her identify connections between mind and body for a holistic approach to weight loss and wellness. She will walk you through dietary changes, behavioral modifications, and emotional/thought adaptations for a lasting, healthier lifestyle. In addition to offering nutrition counseling at Chain Effect, she continues her passion for leading group fitness classes and individually training clients, as she has for over eight years.
