Amanda is a registered yoga teacher, lifelong student, and lover of movement. She first discovered yoga as a form of mind-body medicine that cultivated a deeper state of self-awareness and personal growth. In an effort to empower others, she received her RYT-200 certification from Wilmington Yoga Center in 2017, where she gained an in-depth understanding of guided meditation, breathwork, and physical practice for populations of varying age and ability. Amanda is experienced in all-levels vinyasa (flow) style yoga, where intentional movement is synchronized with the breath – encouraging clients to find the balance between effort and ease. She offers a more gentle approach through restorative and yin style yoga, prompting the art of slowing down and healing through stillness. In a 1:1 session, you can expect to receive individual attention to alignment and breathing, and a greater level of guidance and support for your practice. It will allow you to ease into yoga in a safer manner, with proper alignment and a clear focus on your unique goals and needs.
